'TEACHING MY PARTNER ST LUCIAN WORDS AND PHRASES'

Today's video is about me (a Lucian) teaching my partner (a Jamaican) how to speak my language- St Lucian Kweyol. It is a French dialect called Creole but we call it Patois back home. This was the first time ever teaching her how to my speak my language but over the years she has picked up a little understanding of some words.

Here's what I did in this language challenge.
I wanted to have a little fun with her but first, I gave her some words to pronounce which she done pretty well with, such as;
▶Lapen (rabbit)
▶Bouwik (donkey)
▶Lapót (door)
▶Alé (go)
▶Vini (come)
▶Denmen (tomorrow)
▶Non (name)
▶Zowanj (orange)
▶Chouval (horse)
▶Soulyé (shoe)
▶Bwapen (breadfruit)
Then I gave her a phrase at the end to repeat BUT it was not what she thought it was🤣 MAKE SURE YOU WATCH to find out if she managed to pick up the St Lucian Patois.
