In South Africa, there is around 40% unemployment and most people have never touched a computer - but nearly all the of the population has a mobile phone.

Andi Friedman talks about how technology is often the last thing people associate with poverty alleviation. More often than not, its introduction is associated with retrenchments and jobless growth. But ,by harnessing the power of innate human intelligence and mobile technology, he shows through Mobenzi how we can solve commercial challenges and give people the tools they need to earn a living.
