Float Islands | Remaster | Kirby Super Star Ultra

AYYYY what’s up my chums!!! It’s me, TYPHOOOOOO and today I bring you quite the spring time tune… Weather is great out recently where I live so I decided to capitalize on that spring feeling and make a song from Spring Breeze!!

It’s been about 2 years since my first Float Islands remaster. And man I still remember making that one. It’s not nearly as complex as this one which really just goes to show how much I’ve improved over 2 years. I love that I can look back and see the improvement. I recommend this for anyone who is seeking to get better at their craft. Just keep notes and history of your work, practice every day, learn from your mistakes, and in no time you will see results. Always try new things as well.

Making this remaster was really fun tho. Just figuring out what instruments I wanted to use was the best part. I ended up going for more of the style of my Orange Ocean remaster. With the brass, guitars, and classic synth sounds. I feel like the brass really carries the vibe of the song. It has something about it that just yells out summer, spring, hot weather with a slight breeze type of feel. I love the way it turned out and I hope you guys do too!!

Now about the art. gosh I loved making this piece. The islands, clear blue water, Kirby in action, ready to take on the float islands. It’s a perfect scene. The clouds look so “bubbly” funny enough. That’s another song I wanna remaster… Bubbly Clouds. I’m def gonna try something new with it. Something that’s not really the Typho style 😉 I’m getting side tracked. But yes. The art. I think this is like, the third time I’ve had Kirby with the fighter ability in a thumbnail. One in Trees in the Depths of the Earth, one in Cocoa cave, and now this one 😳 that’s a lot of fighting… but ANYWAYS!
