Corner to Corner Crochet Heart Block Pattern with double crochet boarder and join as you go method

I am so excited to share this super sweet corner to corner/granny square crochet heart block pattern with you! The other day I was thinking about how cute a heart crochet blanket would be and quickly came up with this pattern. I hope you love it!!

Supplies:
-3 colors yarn ( I used, I love this yarn from hobby lobby in shades; pink, fire red and white)

8- 2 pink, 5 red, 1 pink
9- 1 pink, 6 red, 2 pink
10- 3 pink, 6 red, 1 pink
11- 2 pink, 6 red, 3 pink
12- (you will begin with a decrease) 3 pink, 6 red, 1 pink
13- 1 pink, 6 red, 2 pink
14- 2 pink, 3 red, 3 pink
15- 2 pink, 4 red, 1 pink
16- 1 pink, 3 red, 2 pink
17- 1 pink, 3 red, 1 pink
