Former NFL star Michael Vick has interviewed for the head football coach position at Norfolk State University, confirming to the Virginian-Pilot that the school reached out to him. Despite lacking coaching experience, the Newport News native is interested in returning to Hampton Roads. Vick rose to fame at Virginia Tech as the number one overall draft pick in 2001. The Norfolk State athletic department will not comment on the coaching search until a candidate is selected.
