While many retail investors rush to invest in Hertz, billionare investor Carl Ichan has sold off his entire stock position in the company as Hertz files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

Robinhood investors have been flooding into the market to purchase Hertz, despite the smart money selling the stock off. In addition, Hertz plans to issue another $1 Billion dollars of stock shares, which is likely to be bought mostly by retail investors.

Hertz also runs the risk of being delisted from the NYSE and is awaiting their appeal.

As Hertz undergoes Chapter 11 bankruptcy, stock holders may get wiped out making this a very speculative investment.
