Alexander Hardacre (Graham Chapman) presents a graph with percentages of the population. The host asks the audience 'what do they mean?' to everyone. Professor Tiddles (John Cleese) comments it is too early to tell. The host continues, explaining what synonyms are and asking existential questions. A professional cricketer (Eric Idle) cannot comment on anything at this point.

It cuts the signalman from the beginning of the episode, still wrestling with the bear.
