Curtea de Arges shelter manager, Tony Parker, is on a mission to help dogs like JT, who live in 2m by 2m pens and never get to sniff the grass or enjoy fresh air. By enclosing an area within the shelter, we will be able to allocate time each day for dogs that cannot socialise with each other to enjoy some freedom.

The pen will also provide us with an enclosed space to leash train our dogs, improving their chances of adoption and giving potential adopters the chance to see how they behave on the lead. We have so many puppies that are highly trainable - we just need the space to be able to do it safely.

We need around £2,000 for the materials to create our exercise pen - with your help we can make a real difference in our dogs' quality of life.
