Ethiopia's Sidama people are celebrating their traditional new year this week. The colourful event, known as Fiche Chambalala, is taking place at Hawassa, in the country's south. The unique celebration of cultural unity has been taking place for more than 2-thousand years. However, this is the first year it's being marked on a national level.
