A previous owner broke the wiper stalk completely off the $400 Geo Tracker. I found a used one with no cruise control to match this 1996 Base options list. Now we're going to remove the steering wheel, and a lot of the dash to swap out the multifunction assembly that contains every switch in the car other than the climate control. You'll want to disconnect the battery and be careful when replacing a clockspring, this does feed the airbag and the last thing you want to do is deploy an airbag in your face. Amberghini and I decided to go ahead and remove the instrument cluster so we could fix the speedometer and clean everything. Now we can see how fast this little 1.6L 16 valve 4 cylinder gets us down the road!
