Precious moments - Tribute to Shah Bhittai at his shrine. Saif Samejo | Brain Bond | Sardar Shah

A big day, a very precious moment - It’s been a big honour for me to sit and perform Bhittai’s Wai in presence of Fakirs of Bhittai, Brian Bond and in such a sacred place, in front of Bhittai. It’s probably the first time in history that such an event took place, I am deeply touched to have been blessed with this honour in my life and I’m so thankful to thank culture minister & dear friend Sardar Shah, the Fakirs present for this honour. Shah Latif’s poetry is like that drop in the ocean whose ripples continue to move us all to graciousness. I congratulate Brian Bond for awarded Latif Award today for his PHD on Latif’s music & its different genres & our performance together is a gesture to celebrate Bhittai & his poetry/music.
