We did the Grand beach break package and that didn't include the international buffet, domestic open bar, and sailing on their sail boat. However, our excursion did include air conditioned bus transportation, to and from the International Pier, access to the swimming pools, lounge chairs, kid's waterpark, twin twister water slide, inflatable floating obstacle course, kayaks, and water bicycles. Children 3 and under are free and the duration was going to be 5 hrs. For our excursion, our check in time was 9 am. After our big hearty morning breakfast, we had to meet up at the end of the pier at 8:45 am. We met one of the staff there to check in and this is where he gave us our admission bracelets. The kiddos didn't get bracelets because they were free. He told us that our actual meeting location is at Tiki Hut 1, off to the right and that there would be restrooms there. So remember that the restrooms are between Tiki Hut 1 & Tiki Hut 2. There is no baby changing station at the International Pier's restroom. However, the drive to Playa Mia is a 15 min. bus ride and there are baby changing stations in the women's restroom, and not the men's. The bus is air conditioned and the driver told us numerous times to remember our bus number, because we will be boarding the same bus back to the pier. Cruise Tip: If you plan on drinking or think you will forget your bus number, please take a picture of it. Also remember that all excursions are always on SHIP TIME. The bus ride was a short 15 min. ride and since it is a charter bus, they had working seat belts for us too. Our driver was driving the speed limit and didn't go over and we had several families on our bus so we felt very safe in his hands. After getting off the bus, right before the entrance, are little shops like the ones you find on the pier. We zipped through those and went straight inside to the kid's splash pad. This area had 10 slides for my toddler and staff here are a bit strict because of safety. They only wanted kids on the slides, no adults. On the day we went on the twister water slide, it wasn't busy so they only opened one slide, instead of the 2. My husband went on the inflatable obstacle course. The smaller one, is meant for kids and the bigger ones for adults. Also life jackets are found on both sides of the beach for use. The obstacle course is definitely not for my toddler now. I learned that in order for him to do the floating obstacle course. He needs to be able to sit and scoot on a log or at least have 2 adults helping him. My husband and son took the time to ride the water bicycle and kayak. He did have to sign waivers for the non-motorized attractions. Our bus driver told us that we needed to be back on the bus at 1:45 pm, SHIP TIME. Another cruise tip! Bring prepackaged and sealed snacks to your excursions. Kiddos burn their energy faster and they sometimes get visually hungry from other kid's snacks. My toddler is also always hungry after a swim. There is also their admission prices at the gate, if you just want to take a taxi or cab. At the international pier when we got off, Playa Mia also had a convenient information booth sitting on the pier, for you to ask questions and talk to somebody.
