Fasting mimicking diets (how it works and the science behind)

Fasting mimicking diets (FMDs), coined by Dr Valter Longo, were designed to achieve the beneficial effects of fasting without putting your body at risk of malnourishment by still eating. How does it work? What can you eat? Could FMD be used to prevent different age-associated diseases? In this video, I explain all and how FMDs activate rejuvenation processes such as autophagy and stem cells activation that have been proposed to fix, as opposed to blocking different age-associated diseases. I will also show some early human clinical trial data. There is obviously much more work to be done, but the early data is very promising!
