THE SCOTLAND Made in Italy in 1935 Fountain Pen Review

Описание к видео THE SCOTLAND Made in Italy in 1935 Fountain Pen Review

This is my fountain pen review of a vintage Italian instrument from the 1930s, The Scotland Pen. It is a big writing instrument made in celluloid and it has a ink button filling system.
This fountain pen has a nice story. The name "Scotland" and the imprint on its 14K gold nib "Made in England" reflect a trend in the Italian market of the early 1930s: using english names because of the strong anglophile sentiment and because foreign products were considered of high quality.
Later, in 1936 the product was renamed "Scotland Italiana" as a result of market trends changes due to the propaganda of the fascist regime that fight the english names and promoted italian naming.
This fountain pen is a quality product of the 1935 Italy and I am lucky to own it and show it on my You Tube channel. Enyoy!
