Anjali, a 39-year-old singer, who lived with her two daughters (aged 16 and 13) in Shapur Nagar, Jeedimetla, Hyderabad. primary motive appears to be the mother's strong opposition to her 16-year-old daughter's relationship with P. Shiva, whom she met on Instagram eight months prior.

Anjali mother had repeatedly scolded her daughter and tried to end the relationship.
