Starting Glads and Dahlias without soil

It sounds crazy, but it's true. You can start your dahlia tubers and gladiolus corms without soil indoors 4-6 weeks before it's time to set them outdoors. Here's how!

(This trick is especially useful for gardeners in cold climates with short growing seasons, like mine in my Zone 3 garden in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.)
