This three-part educational digital storybook series is based on the autobiography of the legendary Paiute Indian Sarah Winnemucca. Her book, “Life Among the Paiutes”, is the first published autobiography by a Native American woman and gives us a tragic and stunning glance into a truly unique point of view — an early interpreter of a civilization being displaced by another.

This channel promotes the collective learning of Nevada History and connects viewers to the relevance and importance of the Comstock story.

We provide Nevada History educators with a quick and accessible resource that adheres to the State of Nevada’s 4th and 7th-grade history curriculums. Our goal is to maintain and expand the museums’ activities by combining history with arts and science projects. All of our resources are public property and available for all to use.
