Typesetting values with units in LaTeX.

When typing values with units, it's important to pay attention to the combined mathematical meaning of the value and unit combination. The SI units system, in particular, establishes a standardized set of units as well as usage guidelines. Distinct countries and publishers, on the other hand, have different standards for how numbers should appear (and units). The siunitx package combines the greatest features of previous packages while also providing a consistent user experience.
