A Year With My Hornby TT:120 & HMDCC Layout.

Описание к видео A Year With My Hornby TT:120 & HMDCC Layout.

A snapshot of my last year, since i started the whole Hornby TT:120 thing.. The elbow is when i fell down the last few step of the stairs in January and damaged the elbow. Its got worse before better..

Plus i seem to have a nack of hitting it in the loft all the time, when doing the work!!

Some tech specs: The layout has a Roco 35900 turntable, with a Block Signalling Reverse Loop Module. Tillig Insulated Fishplates on each exit/entrance. Hornby Elite supplying the DCC power. Building are by Hornby & Modelux. Track is 95% Hornby and 5% Tillig. Foam underlay is from Wickes.
The suspension bridge is Hornby OO one. I plan to use the Hornby 6010's for points, with the Peco Twistlock point motors, 90% under board, some above as they are close to board supports. HMDCC to control all loco's, the Shunters have been converted to Bluetooth decoder by Richard ‪@ThisWayWorksTWW‬ . All loco's are planed to use the Horny Stayalives (maybe).

Scenery is all still to do, bought a number of items and Sam (Art Department) is making a forest or two at the moment... We have nearly every rock mold there is, i have to say, i do like making the rocks.. Sam is good and painting and adding the grass and bits.

Tunnel still to make, not 100% how i'm going to do this, will have it, so the top comes off, to give access to the tracks.

Also just bought a 3D printer, (still in box) and need to learn that new skill...

I hope you enjoy the video, didn't find the software not very user friendly, will look for something better.
Hope you all enjoy it, please ask any questions. As mentioned in other vids, this is my first ever layout, learning everyday and making mistakes, but loving it...

Thanks
Dodge
