In the super-stylish city of Milan in Italy, is what I consider to be the most elegant tall building I know. It’s not the tallest in the world and it’s also not the most show-off or brash “look-at-me” building. It is extremely well detailed and considered in a subtle manner that we really don’t see in a lot of “similar” looking buildings. This has a combination of architectural and structural design that has produced a singular cohesive thought that just all works…and that, my friends, is elegance.

Gio Ponti was the architect and Pier Luigi Nervi was the structural engineer. What a combination!!!
