The following is a full gameplay video of 1991's "Star Wars: Attack on the Death Star" for the Japanese Sharp X68000 computer system.

Developed by M.N.M. Software and published by Victor Musical Industries, Inc., this gem of a game features crisp 3D wireframe graphics and digitized audio straight from Episode IV.

You the player are Rebel Alliance pilot Luke Skywalker, flying an X-Wing starfighter in the Battle of Yavin, reenacted over the course of three stages.

Dogfight against Imperial TIE Fighters, reduce the Death Star's surface defenses, and fight to the end of the trench to fire your proton torpedoes to destroy the Empire's titanic battle station once and for all!
