Renaissance Park is located in Charlotte, NC. where there is 2 courses. The shorter course, Renske is located near the baseball fields off W Tyvola Rd. This is a 4,388 FT. course playing at a par 54. Apparently Sunday is cricket day so parking lot might be full. ****DISCLAIMER*****This video and the next 2 i believe are shaky. I didn't realize one of the settings was turned off until i started editing. Hopefully it won't be a problem moving forward after this set of three.

Course Breakdown:
1. Amenities-6, basic but better than most.
2. Parking-10, plenty of paved parking spots
3. Trash-9.5, Most the holes were free from trash, there was one hole where the trash can was overflowing with trash.
4. People-5, There were some people on the course, other activities at the park really don't interfere with play. However the airport is near by and what sounded like a gun range. Needless to say if you are looking for a quiet place to play, this is not it.
5. Scenery-5, Typical woods golf.
6. Terrain-7, Most just have to watch out for roots, however, if it has rained recently you can expect to be walking through some mud.
7. Cart Friendly-9.9, Other than a lot of roots, it should be very easy to get around this course with a cart.
8. Navigation-8.4, For the most part it was easy to get around, there were a few spots that made it hard to get around, especially the walk from 13 to 14.
9. Teepads-8, Concrete teepads but seemed a little short for a comfortable run up.
10. Rough-6.3, Some spots rough won't be a problem, other spots you can expect to lose a stroke if you wind up in the woods.
11. Openess-7.3, Good mix of open, trees and woods golf. Your accuracy will be tested.
12. Lines-9.5, Had no problem figuring out where to throw.
13. Baskets-10, no problems here.
14. Shot Variety-6, There were a lot of shots but they seemed to be clumped together. It was like through the same shot off the tee 4 or 5 times in a row. Then another shot shape 4 or 5 times off the tee.
15. Layout-5.1, Some of the fairways are shared with the Gold course. The Gold course tees are blind to parts of the fairway so you need to be mindful of your surroundings. Also 3 holes parallel the road so make sure it is clear before you throw.
