In this video, we have briefed about how to prepare rice nursery through its dry sowing. It has been suggested to use 3-5 kg seed depending upon variety, for transplanting of one acre nursery in an area of 3-4 Marla. If farm yard manure is not added as mulch material, then either the use of half kg/marla of DAP at sowing or fertigation of P44 Swat agro @ 100 gram per marla should be ensured immediately after germination. Application of 10 kg zinc sulphate or spray of Headland zinc @ 250 ml/acre should also be managed 15-20 days after.
