Daniel Lismore on the Armada Portrait of Elizabeth I

Описание к видео Daniel Lismore on the Armada Portrait of Elizabeth I

'I would say Elizabeth I is a great representation of the gender non-binary.'

Artist Daniel Lismore is a living sculpture. Fabrics, costumes, accessories, jewellery - all are carefully chosen and methodically displayed.

Elizabeth I too knew how to use fashion and appearance in order to control her image. Her dress in the Armada Portrait fascinates Daniel, who takes inspiration from the image of the Tudor queen.
