How to put a n1700 in permanent play mode.
This is handy, because you have a picture before even push
a tape transport button.

The two long switches on panel21, sk201 & sk202 are Notorious for problems.

Handy for all those old "sticky shed syndrome" tapes.
This will NOT fix that problem, but it gives you some flexibility.
A sticky shed tape will clog up your heads in seconds.

Note:
I found out later that your wind and rewind may have problems, allso the brake does NOT work anymore...
