Love Everyone - Cat Madden (Live at Hipposonic Studios)

“Love Everyone” happened during a transitional period where, due to covid, I was forced to be with myself for several months. Good god.

Completely alone, slipping into the darkest depression and deepest depths of paranoia I had ever experienced. Don't worry though. Happy ending coincides with further reading.

Back then though I started riding my bike a lot. To escape n whatnot.

I’d go, into the bush, further and further. No cell service, lots of bears n stuff... but with every bear-attack-free adventure came a bounty of confidence.

Not afraid of bears. Terrified of being a chubby weirdo.

On the journeys I’d sweat.. and cry sometimes… but eventually I laughed with myself.

Things went back to “normal”.

Now (but actually back then still) when I were around others I realized how extreme the change in myself was and how able I was connecting, or alienating, everyone around me.

Then I wrote the song “Love Everyone” and the chorus lyrics go: Lose Yourself, Move Yourself, Love Everyone.

And it just goes round in a cycle like that really.
