手描きEND ROLL || Tenohira Wonderland

HELLO!! i got into end roll only very recently and… i went a little wild and pretty legitimately no-lifed this in two months. i'm okay i'm normal about this game. russell particularly, as you may see here

this is my first time ever making a video like this, including dabbling into editing and animation largely as well, so go easy on me! it was quite a learning curve in a lot of ways, to say the least HAHA
i actually only came across the song recently as well despite liking quite a bit of sasanomaly/nekobolo's music, and it's crazy how well it fits. you can thank that for this whole idea happening. i hope you enjoy it as much as i did!!

some casual notes and trivia from me:
- this is more of a disclaimer, but everything in the first half/past section is naturally just my personal interpretation for the sake of this video!
- [1:07] i know that this part was described as a moonless night in the game, but it didn't look good without it, so. artistic license 😭👍
- [1:37] to give an explanation for this scene since it is a bit vague, i personally imagine that russell would've likely distanced somewhat from chris after gardenia's murder. even if russell really did never feel any guilt back then, or at least never recognized it, i still feel like it would've been hard to stay around him the same as before, sadly. it probably made it even easier for things to continue spiraling if so too
- the chris bias throughout is probably pretty obvious HAHA. my main motivator actually for ending up with the first half covering the past was through wanting more opportunities to show him. but i think it ended up working really well for it, so that was great
- i mainly was inspired through what the song lyrics reminded me of, and worked out a general flow from there. that's why the siblings' murders and gardenia's aren't covered in order, while most others were largely skipped over, and…. there was no room to fit in the dreamsend employees, i'm so sorry SOB
[2:50] - i chose kantera for this scene mainly because he's the one i picked when playing myself, and is a personal favorite of mine among the townspeople whose relationship with russell i find intriguing. also for the sake of balancing all their screen time as best as i could
- the bits of translation that i edited were mostly just general phrasing for the sake of flowing with the video. some of it may not be quite as natural wording english-wise of course, but i couldn't help wanting to match things up as closely as i could with what's heard in some parts
- fun fact: i'm actually a little squeamish over syringes myself. end roll is an amazing thing HAHA
