Bakery Style HOT CHOCOLATE POKE CAKE RECIPE using Box cake mix | Holiday desert recipes

What perfect time to enjoy a comforting desert like this Hot chocolate poke cake on a cold day! Poke cakes are super fun and easy to put together. You can even make this cake ahead and refrigerate to save you more time.

Ingredients I used

For the chocolate cake
1 Duncan Hines Chocolate fudge cake mix
3.4 oz instant Butterscotch pudding mix
4 eggs
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup melted unsalted butter
1 cup buttermilk

For the marshmallow toppings
13oz marshmallow cream
1/4 cup water

For the Whipped Cream topping
1 8 oz container whipped topping thawed
5 Tbsp instant hot cocoa powder

For the chocolate fudge
1/4 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
1/4 - 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
