Ingredients

Gelatin - 2 tbsp
Sugar - 1 cup
Water - 1/2 cup
Salt - 1 pinch
Vanilla essence -1tsp

Method:

1. Grease the pan with oil and icing sugar.
(Note: use a plastic/ glass container to set the Marshmallows)


2. Add 2tbsp Gelatin with 1/4cup of water and let it bloom.

3. Add 1cup sugar and 1/2 cup water in a pan and make a syrup. (add 2 drops of lemon if required).

4. Once the sugar comes to the right consistency, pour it to the gelatin mixture and beat continuously.

5. Once the it attains stiff peaks. Transfer it to a pan and let it rest for 4-5 hrs or until the top becomes non-sticky.

6. while cutting the marshmallows apply icing sugar on all the sides including your hands to prevent it from sticking.
