We were delighted to welcome Britain's best-known classicist to Sheffield Doc/Fest in 2018. Mary's scholarly, yet accessible style has made her both a popular presenter and very public intellectual. In conversation with Charlotte Moore, Director of Content at the BBC, Mary discussed her broadcasting career, which includes co-presenting a major new series of Civilisations, along with David Olusoga and Simon Schama, as well as her most recent book, Women & Power: A Manifesto, hailed as a modern feminist classic.
