The team at Experimental Noize built the Aphazing by going back to basics, starting from scratch and creating a 100 percent hand-coded platform, then expanding on it by offering an unparalleled phaser control set. While most phasers only offer controls for rate and depth, the Aphazing branches out far beyond the bare essentials, giving players control over filter resonance and number of stages across four operation modes. The Aphazing offers classic Additive and Subtractive phase modes as well as alternate versions of both for some never-before-heard phase foundations. Within each mode, players can select either two, four, eight or 12 stages which completeley alter the phasing character, going from subtle, Uni-Vibe-like movement to a psychedelic enveloping 12-stage sound. Once the appropriate mode and stage number is dialed in, the Aphazing offers High and Low Limit knobs, which aren't found anywhere else. These two controls set the high and low point of the phase sweeps, for mind-bending asymmetrical throbbing and some very convincing tremolo sounds to boot.
