Our slow travel family Christmas this year was spent with friends and family. Winter in Ontario Canada is a magical time which led to a New Years resolution for Youtuber.

As a Slow Travel family we always have tough choices for Christmas. Stay put (wherever that is this year), go somewhere else and invite friends and/or family along, or go back to visit family where they live (most of them anyways). This year we traveled back to Ontario and revisited familiar places.

There is something magical about winter in Ontario. This is true for almost all of Canada, but it’s certainly the case for Ontario. Winter for us has always been associated with snow, hot drinks on cold nights,. the Northern Lights, and of course Christmas Light displays.

Time moves slower in the winter. Even People move slower, taking time to reflect on the year that is coming to a close and drawing close to friends and family. A time for celebrating a year gone past and a shared hope for a bright new year. These are all things you can find in this beautiful Canadian province.
