Apple recently unveiled the AirPods max its own over-ear noise-canceling headphones. they come with the premium design and also come with an extremely premium $549 price and are set to go on sale on December 15th

The AirPods Max come in five colors: space gray, silver, sky blue, green, and pink.
They feature what Apple calls a “custom acoustic design”
The build quality is amazing with high end materials used throughout. the design is sleek and simple and apple has even avoided placing their logo on the massive real estate available on the AirPods max.

Apple has brought over a number of features that were included in the AirPods line, like adaptive EQ, transparency mode, spatial audio, and audio sharing. There’s even something from the Apple Watch — the Digital Crown — that has made its way to these headphones.
Apple says it “offers precise volume control and the ability to play or pause audio, skip tracks, answer or end phone calls, and activate Siri.”
There’s also a separate “noise control” button for switching between noise-canceling and transparency modes.

the memory foam ear cushions should make for good comfort. They’re also removable and attach via magnets, so hopefully replacing them won’t be too much trouble.

this provides an additional level of colour customisation for consumers later on, albeit for an additional $65

The AirPods Max offer 20-hour battery life and charge over Apple’s Lightning connector — not USB-C. (Apple has a sold-separately $35 Lightning to 3.5mm cable for wired listening.)

a five-minute charge gets you 90 minutes of playback time. The headphones automatically pause audio when removed from your ears and resume playback when you put them back on.

There’s also a “smart case” for the AirPods Max that automatically puts them into a low-power mode when placed inside.

Apple’s noise-cancellation system produces anti-noise to hush external sound by using six outward-facing microphones. Two inward-facing mics measure what you’re hearing to cancel out additional distractions. Apple also claims the AirPods Max perform well for voice calls (even in windy conditions)

Apple has taken impressive advantage of the synergy between its hardware by introducing features like automatic device switching — the AirPods Max, AirPods can switch between an iPhone, Mac, and iPad based on whichever one you’re currently using


Alright, Now lets jump onto the Main differences between the AirPods Pro and the Airpods MAX:

The Price:
The Airpods Pro are apples Very Popular in ear earphones priced at $249 so less than half the price of the Airpods Max which are priced at 549


The Size:
The size allows them to fit easily into any pocket and their silicone ear tips secures them comfortably inside the ear which allows them to be used while exercising running etc. AirPods max dont have the same portability.


Colour options:
The AirPods Pro only come in 1 colour, and that’s white. AirPods Max come in 5 different colours.

Wireless Charging:
Unlike the Airpods Max, the AirPods pro can be charged wirelessly with any Chi Charger.

Battery life:
AirPods Pro Can last unto 4.5 hours of listening time. with additional charing in the case, it can go unto 24 hours of listening time before the batteries are drained out.
The Airpods MAX can last unto 20 hours on one charge. its case does not hold additional charges.

Water and Sweat Resistance:
The AirPods pro are water and sweat resistant. the Airpods MAX are not, probably because they’re not meant to be used while exercising or in the rain.

Active Noise Cancelation:
Both Airpods Pro and Airpods MAX have ANC, but it is probably better in the promax

Controls:
Airpods Pro can switch between tracks, answer calls etc by squeezing the stem. you cannot control the volume with the pros.
The Airpods MAX has a dedicated digital crown for volume and other controls and a button to switch transparency modes.

and lastly:

Siri and iOS:
Both Airpods Pro and Airpods MAX have Siri Assist inbuilt and being apple devices, they are deeply integrated into the apple ecosystem which gives the User a seamless and immersive experience while switching between their different iOS Devices.

Alright guys i hope this video helped you understand the deeper differences between the AirPods Pro and the new Airpods MAX, like i said before they’re intended for two very different purposes. if you want an audio powerhouse to use indoors for content consumption or high quality music listening experience then the AirPods MAX are the easy option. if you want an easy to carry set of earbuds that can do it all and are willing to compromise a bit on sound quality albeit for a much lesser price then opt for the AirPods Pros.
