Pineapple is an aggregate (or multiple) fruits formed from a group of flowers called inflorescences.
The inflorescence grows out of the center of the plant were 100 to 200 flowers merge to create the fruit.
Much of the pineapple growing process is done manually.
It grows best in warmer regions, with temperatures between 18 and 35ºC, and in clayey and sandy soils. In colder temperatures, the fruit has a sour taste.
