Shed hunting with dogs: sheds won't run away! In this video, you will see one of our workshop attendees and her dog. Timing of praise is absolutely essential to help that light bulb turn on! We don't know what the dog is smelling, and we can't risk correcting a dog that could be on a shed we don't see and turning them off of it. Sheds won't run away, so take your time, and be patient.

One of the biggest things when it comes to dog training in general is to keep our emotions in check. Our dogs can read our emotions so well, and we must be aware that they mirror us.

Be patient, slow down, control your emotions, and find success! Don't be afraid to walk off of the shed and take a break to get your head right if things aren't going well when shed hunting with dogs, the shed won't run away!
