09 Flour Sack Jumping

This exercise does a great job helping artists use various Principles of Animation when attempting to make this oddly shaped volume move across the screen. Some of the concepts covered in this video include Straight Ahead and Pose-to-Pose animation, trusting your intuition as an artist, and using references to animation. If you've got a large pillow, bag of rice, or flour hanging around, I'd strongly recommend that you shoot some reference footage before attempting this exercise.
