Got access to the new ChatGPT web browsing and it felt like an untapped superpower that still needs some work but you can see the unlimited potential when it gets there.

It’s also still in Alpha so I’m sure they OpenAI is working on this and Sam Altman did say they wanted to put things out into the public to test and iterate rather than do it in private.

For informational searches where you want to learn something, it will fit perfectly with what chatGPT can do now.

If you want to buy something, make a transaction or visit a specific website, there is work to be done. Same with its site sourcing because it seems to only have one site source per answer. Ill still be using Google or Bing for these kind of searches.

This feature will definitely get me using chatGPT even more. With 80% of searches informational, this will have an impact on search…just hope they don’t include ads with it.
