Disney Cars Petersen Automotive Museum Motor Speedway of the South Piston Cup Display w/ Apple iCar

On November 12, 2011, the Petersen Automotive Museum opened a new exhibit titled "From Silver Screen to Die-cast: Disney Pixar Cars Imagined by Mattel." Many recognize the exhibit for the plethora of cancelled prototypes that were shown, ranging from Piston Cup haulers and team sets to obscure characters, such Trev, Syd VanDerKamper and Vroomaroundus Bugus. However, the exhibit featured a lot more than just cancelled prototypes; its centerpiece was a Motor Speedway of the South set with the elusive Apple iCar #84. The display that held the Motor Speedway of the South set recently was listed for sale on Ebay...
