How Speedrunners Conquered a Mountain - Billy Hatcher Speedrun History

Dino 8 is a mission in Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg that has the player climb up to the top of a mountain. In the earliest days of Billy Hatcher speedrunning, this level was not even considered for the routing of the Any% category but was quickly routed in after it was realised how broken this level was. Over the course of the next decade, this level developed so much that it is now one of the Any% category's fastest levels and almost plays like an entirely new level. This is the history on how this level became so fast.
