Electro-Harmonix Synth 9 with Acoustic Guitar

Описание к видео Electro-Harmonix Synth 9 with Acoustic Guitar

There haven't been many videos posted of the Synth 9 being used with acoustic guitar, so I decided to post a quicky. The guitar has an old Seymour Duncan SA-1 in the hole pickup. The PA being used is a Bose L1 model two. Also I am running it into two channels on the mixer so as to keep the guitar tone pure. That also allows for additional effects to be added to the Synth 9's wet signal. I haven't spent very much time with it yet, maybe an hour or two at the most. I posted this video an hour after using it. It would be nice for electro harmonix to come out with a dedicated acoustic guitar pad pedal. I believe there would be a big market for that kind of thing among acoustic players. This recording was made with an iPhone. No additional mics were used. *If I remember correctly, I think I used the first setting to make this recording. After a year of use, I find myself using the “strings” almost exclusively. I believe that is setting number 8. It becomes pleasantly noticeable when finger picking, or at the end of a strum- anywhere there is space in the music for it to occasionally peek through.
