Hey all,

I'm back from the holiday season, and what better way to start off the New Year-ish by trying to get more qualifier points in Modern Preliminaries?

I asked around, and Ari Lax and I had a conversation about potentially good new Modern decks to try, and Boros Prowess came to mind. It made top 8 of a Challenge lately in the hands of maxxattack (aka Max McVety), so I also went to go pick Max's mind about how the deck could be improved!

The major paradigm shift in playing this deck is that you have access to 7-8 'draw 2s' in the form of Light Up the Stage and Reckless Impulse. This allows you to play well versus other Lurrus / interactive decks by never running out of cards. Of course, this is alongside the usual Modern Horizons 2 'bangers' in Ragavan / Dragon's Rage Channeler.
