Lapsi is a traditional, authentic Maharashtrian recipe. It is a healthy and easy recipe too. You can call this as winter special recipe as it contains gudh which is healthy. Do try this recipe and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, comment and subscribe.

Ingredients:
• 4 tsp Ghee
• Few chopped Cashew nuts
• Few chopped Almonds
• Few fresh Coconut slices
• 1/2 cup Daliya
• 1 1/2 cup hot Water
• 1/2 cup grated Gudh / Jaggery
• 1/12 tsp Cardamom powder
• A pinch of dried Ginger powder

Method:
• Heat up a cooker on medium heat and add ghee.
• When ghee is a little hot add cashew nuts, almonds, fresh
coconut slices and daliya.
• Use a little coarse variety of daliya and not a fine one.
• You can wash daliya if you want.
• Fry everything well on medium heat for about 4-5 minutes until it
turns light golden.
• Add hot water and mix well. Do not add cold water at all.
• If you add little more water then, no problem. As daliya cooks it
dries up.
• Close the lid and cook on medium heat until 3 whistle.
• After opening the lid if you feel the daliya a little dry then you can
add more hot water in it.
• Loosen the daliya and mix it well.
• Add gudh and mix well.
• Turn on the gas and cook the mixture gudh melts.
• Cook the mixture for another 4-5 minutes after gudh melts.
• Turn off the gas and add cardamom powder, dried ginger powder.
• Mix well and basic lapsi or lapsi rava is already.
• You can add dried nut meg in place of ginger powder.
• You can serve this as it is hot or cold too.
• If you want daliya kheer then add hot milk in hot lapsi and serve.
