Wall-nut is a recurring character within the Plants vs. Zombies franchise. They're defensive plants that can't attack back (except in Wall-nut Bowling and Wall-nut Bowling 2), but instead block off zombies with their huge amounts of health.

Primal Wall-nut is the second plant obtained in Jurassic Marsh in Plants vs. Zombies 2. He is the primal version of Wall-nut. He costs 25 sun more than the modern Wall-nut, but has the same toughness and recharges much faster. He also has the ability to withstand instant kills from zombies such as Gargantuar Smashes, Zombot Missiles, and their lasers. The mentioned instant kills will only deal 1500 damage to him, except for smashes from Gladiator Gargantuar, which deals 1875 damage to him instead.

Tall-nut is a recurring character within the Plants vs. Zombies franchise. Like Wall-nut, Tall-nuts is a Defensive plant that block off zombies with their large amounts of health.
He has more health than Wall-nut and can stop low flying zombies in their tracks, an ability Wall-nut doesn't have.

Explode-O-Nut is an explosive version of the Wall-nut. Once defeated, they explode in a 3x3 area, similar to the area of a Cherry Bomb, dealing 1800 damage per shot to any zombie(s) caught in the blast.

Endurian is a plant in both Plants vs. Zombies 2. He is a defensive plant similar to Wall-nut, but he also damages zombies that are close to him by using the spikes he has, similar to Spikeweed, dealing the same amount of damage at Level 1.

Pumpkin is a Vine plant in Plants vs. Zombies 2 that was added in the 7.7.2 update. He has high health and protects plants within him.

Pea-nut is an offensive and defensive premium plant that appears in Plants vs. Zombies 2 while also being tied to Dark Ages Part 2. It was released on June 22, 2014, and was available for purchase for $2.99 (although there was a discount where it cost $0.99 starting July 20th). It can now be purchased for 100 gems permanently.

Murkadamia Nut is a shadow plant in Plants vs. Zombies 2 first introduced the 8.3.1 update. It blocks off zombies identically to Wall-nut, but only has slightly more health than an Infi-nut.

Infi-nut is the fifth plant obtained in Far Future in Plants vs. Zombies 2. He has half of the toughness of a Wall-nut, but is capable of regenerating his health over time, provided that his projector remains intact. He is obtained after beating Far Future - Day 13.
