Описание к видео 2020 PEUGEOT 2008 GT Design, Interior and Driving

The new Peugeot 2008 has been priced from £20,150 in the UK. The compact crossover sits below the 3008 in the French brand’s line-up and is designed to rival the new NIssan Juke, the Skoda Kamiq and the Hyundai Kona.

The electric version of the model, the e-2008, starts from and £28,150. That price is inclusive of the government’s plug-in car grant. First deliveries for the conventionally powered 2008 will arrive in February 2020, while the first examples of the all-electric e-2008 will reach their buyers in April of next year.

Pricing and specs

From launch, the 2008 is available in four trim levels: Active, Allure, GT Line and flagship GT trims. Entry-level Active models come as standard with 16-inch alloy wheels, electrically controlled and heated door mirrors, a 3.5-inch display set into the instrument binnacle and a seven-inch infotainment system with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Active safety braking is also standard across the range.

Peugeot’s mid-range 2008 Allure starts from £22,350 for the internal combustion-powered version and £30,300 for the all-electric model. Cosmetic upgrades over the standard SUV include a set of 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, gloss black B-pillars, gloss black trim for the rear bumper and black roof rails. Buyers also get a pair of LED front fog lamps, fabric-and-faux-leather seat upholstery and a digital instrument binnacle.

GT Line models start from £26,100 and get 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, LED headlamps, a black tailgate spoiler, a contrasting black roof, a dark chrome radiator grille and a sporty body kit with a matte chrome chin spoiler and a faux diffuser. The e-2008 in GT Line starts from £32,000.

Inside, the 2008 GT Line features half-leather upholstery with lime green stitching, heated front seats, a leather sports steering wheel, aluminium pedals, automatic air conditioning and an eight-colour customisable ambient lighting system. Buyers also get a larger 10-inch infotainment system with TomTom navigation, a voice recognition system, four USB sockets and a 180-degree reversing camera.

Peugeot’s range-topping 2008 GT is priced from £31,575 (£34,275 for the e-2008 GT). It gets a host of additional safety equipment, including adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist and active blind-spot monitoring. Buyers also get a panoramic glass sunroof and a reupholstered interior trimmed in a Alcantara and fabric.

Buyers can also choose from a range of optional equipment, including an active blind-spot monitoring system (£200), adaptive cruise control (£300), an automated parking system (£250), a premium FOCAL surround sound stereo system (£590) and multi-way electrically adjustable Nappa leather front seats with a massage function for the driver (£1,500).

Engines and fuel economy

The first Peugeot 2008 is available with a choice of five powertrains. The cheapest model is fitted with Peugeot’s 99bhp turbocharged 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine – but, for a £2,200 premium, buyers can spec the same unit in a 128bhp output. Both engines are mated to a six-speed manual gearbox as standard, although buyers can opt for an eight-speed automatic for an extra £1,550.

The flagship 2008 GT comes as standard with an even more potent version of PSA’s 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine, which develops 153bhp. It can only be specced with an eight-speed automatic gearbox and offers claimed economy and emissions figures of 45.6mpg and 113g/km of CO2.

Peugeot’s turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder diesel is priced from £21,750. It develops 99bhp and 250Nm of torque – and it’s only available with a six-speed manual transmission. Peugeot claims its BlueHDi diesel gives the 2008 a top speed of 115mph, emissions figures of between 96 and 102g/km of CO2 and a fuel economy figure of 54.4mpg.

The range-topping e-2008 is powered by the same 134bhp electric motor and 50kWh battery pack as the new e-208 supermini, giving the SUV a claimed maximum range of 193 miles. When plugged into a domestic 7.4kW wall-box charger, a full charge takes seven-and-a-half hours – although the battery pack also offers support for 100kW fast-charging, which allows it to recover an 80 percent charge in just 30 minutes.
