Across the Mojave on Foot: Ep. 1, Sink or Swim

Watch me attempt to hike over 500 miles across the Mojave Desert on foot! This video covers the first ~2.5 days, in which I leave the Mexican border, cross the Chocolate Mountains, and try to swim across the Colorado River . . .

I recommend using the closed captions, as I sometimes mumble a bit . . .

Disclaimer: Do not attempt to complete a journey like this unless you have some serious desert wilderness experience. And are a strong swimmer--the Colorado is a cold (50F/10C) and dangerous river.
