Overwatch: Wait, What? NYXL LOST?! - League Semifinal Analysis

The NYXL were destined to win the Overwatch League after 6 months of regular season dominance where they went to every stage finals and won two of them. However, the Philadelphia Fusion brought an overbearing mechanical performance that stopped the dreams of the destined team. Between the format and patch, NYXL wasn't looking prepared to play in the meta they were in, going down quick in the first series but after some hard work before the next one, really put on a show as they grinded to learn the next patch. It wasn't to be however, because the Philadelphia Fusion played superior Overwatch, executed more mechanical fps carry plays as well as staying calm under pressure. Unlike the NYXL, they didn't crumble when put under stress, no panic swaps to odd team compositions out of desperation, even when NYXL took maps, the Fusion looked comfortable. Sadly, even though NYXL went into the last map with a huge advantage, Fusion had the answers with better counterpicks and an even more impressive defensive hold to snuff out their attack for 5 minutes on Dorodo.
