Designed in collaboration with Nick Williams of Dunwich Amplification.

Paying homage to the sacred bass rig embodied by Al Cisneros in the early days of OM, GIZA is a JFET emulation of a modified Green Matamp GT120 preamp combined with the hypnotic pairing of DOD 250 Overdrive and Boss DS-1 Distortion.

Featuring 36V of headroom for authentic tube-like overdrive and response, the signal is fed into both the DOD 250 and DS-1 with a clean blend around both effects.

The summer signal from the clean blend, DOD 250, and DS-1 is sent into the Green Preamp.

Designed as a grinding bass overdrive, GIZA remains equally crushing on down tuned guitar…

Controls

Hreem: Controls the wet/dry mix of a parallel Clean Blend, DOD 250 Overdrive, and Boss DS-1 Distortion driving a modified Matamp GT120 Preamp.

Set the Hreem control at zero for that classic Matamp overdrive or dial it up for multiple gain stages of meditative drones and entrancing harmonic saturation.

Power

Use only a standard 9v DC power supply with a 2.1mm negative-center barrel. An isolated power supply is recommended. Power supply not included.
