Death of a Salesman, Act II Scene 2, Willy's Monologue, Karl Wells

Описание к видео Death of a Salesman, Act II Scene 2, Willy's Monologue, Karl Wells

"One of the first pieces of live theatre I saw as a young man, maybe the first, was a production of Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller. It’s his most famous play. Deservedly so. Willy Loman, a lifelong salesman, is at the end of his career. His soul has been crushed, he faces not being able to provide for his family and he is incapable of seeing anything but a bleak future. In this video I perform a speech where Willy is trying to explain to his disinterested young boss, why he is no longer able to make a success of being a salesman on the road. I hope you enjoy my interpretation of this famous dramatic monologue." - Karl Wells
