Building the Future: Children and the Sustainable Development Goals in Rich Countries is the first report to assess the status of children in 41 high-income countries in relation to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) identified as most important for child well-being. It ranks countries based on their performance and details the challenges and opportunities that advanced economies face in achieving global commitments to children.

When UNICEF approached us again to create the visuals for promoting this year’s global Report Card (UNICEF Innocenti Report Card 14), we have been briefed that this time, the visuals should be all about big bold typography, big facts & key figures highlighting individual parts of the report - as opposed to creating a coherent story guiding the viewer through all parts of the report (something we had been asked to do in a previous year through a longer motion graphic).

So ultimately our task was to take the most prominent, most shocking and most important data out of the report and visualize them in a infographic-styled eye-catching way.

The result was, 9 Infographics, 2 Motion Graphics.
