This performance was the first time I saw the Goo Goo Dolls on tv. It was 1999 and I was 12 years old.
I was on vacation for a cousins wedding. At that time my other cousin owned a record store, so we went to check it out. I told him I liked this song and he helped me find the Dizzy Up The Girl record. With my new CD and then seeing this performance, I was hooked for life.
My love of music exploded from this point on, I started playing guitar and piano, and creating art. It was a really special and formative time in my life.
The influence of this band on my life cannot be measured, it's in my dna now
